Unfortunately, residents of West Bengal and Delhi are yet to benefit from this scheme as these states have not adopted Ayushman Bharat.

Free Healthcare Schemes by the Delhi Government
Delhi residents can also access free treatment through a range of schemes:
- Free Treatment in Government Hospitals: All government hospitals in Delhi offer free medical services. If the waiting time for treatment exceeds 30 days, patients are allowed to get treated at a private hospital, with costs covered by the Delhi government. A Delhi voter ID card is required for this benefit.
- Accident Victims: Any person injured in a road accident in Delhi can receive treatment at nearby private hospitals, with the expenses paid by the Delhi government.
- Delhi Arogya Kosh (DAK): This scheme offers free medical services, including surgeries, implants, and tests, for Delhi residents. Those with a Delhi voter card are eligible for treatment with up to Rs 5 lakh in medical costs covered under this scheme.
Free Healthcare in West Bengal: Swasthya Sathi Scheme
In West Bengal, the Swasthya Sathi scheme ensures that patients admitted to government hospitals receive free medical care. This initiative, led by the Health Department, aims to reduce the financial burden of healthcare on low-income families, providing essential medical services without any cost.
